Mean Feet X Road 140 BPM

Over the past few weeks the Custom Shoe design company ‘Mean Feet’ has been gathering a storm in the Grime online scene. The recent collab with clothing brand Road 140 BPM has attracted the likes of Giggs, Big Narstie, Wiley and has been picked up by BBC 1xtra. The design created by Road 140 BPM features a tube map of London but with Grime artist’s names at each stop, these limited edition kicks sold out in just a few days.

Mean Feet is fresh on the market, having only been running since January this year. It may surprise you to know that it is ran by just one 21 year old student Grace Shepherdson, who has been working hard at expanding her brand. As she accepts any custom design, her brand is expected to grow rapidly over 2017. Some of the other designs feature the playboy bunny logo and custom Nike sliders, but since the success of the collab with Road 140 BPM many other big clothing companies have been interested in collaborating with Mean Feet as well.

The Tube Map design can also be found printed on T-shirts on Road 140 BPM’s website which, hence the name, features many other Grime related tee’s, and is defo worth checking out. This summer you can find pop up merchandise stalls selling Road 140 BPM’s garms and LTD Edition trainers at Strawberries & Creem Fest in Cambridge on June 17th and Crepe City in Shoreditch on the 29th July.

I’m expecting big things from both of these brands over the course of the year, and will be investing in some custom creps and some T-shirts from both Mean Feet and Road 140 BPM!
